About Us

The Chi-Town Cheer & Dance Teams have been entertaining audiences for over thrity years. You’ve seen them around town performing in many Chicago events! The Chi-town Cheerleaders are committed to helping their community and City. They have been volunteers at Walk-a-thons, serving meals at Thanksgiving and Performing in back to school parades. They have performed in the Chicago Football Classis pre-game show for the past 7 years and one of their team members has been in the Bud Billiken Royal Court for the past 15 years! Their Praise Dancers are outstanding “Angels”

The team’s Head coach and founder is Ms. Paulette Franklin who has been a Physical Education teacher and Athletic Trainer, for over 30 years. Chi-Town has also run a After School matters program titled “Tumbling into Fitness” for 13 years. Coach Franklin was name Dance coach of the year in 2010 and Received a Home town hero award in 2017 from Spiderman and Windy City Live. She has worked with students all over the Chicago area. She is dedicated to youth, excellence and Love. Chi-Town is a “Not for Profit” organization looking for sponsors to support their athletes in their quest to make it to the Open World cheerleading championship April 2022.
